As my inaugural post I wanted to talk you about expectation of this blog. First off, I'm the owner and principle consultant of Horizons Aloft - www.horizonsaloft.com and my company provides small and medium businesses a no-hassle and no-jargon way to explore how private aviation might help grow and service their client base.
On this blog, I'll be exploring different issues that will impact the "owner/operator of a light business aircraft" - in other words the guy or gal who owns the business, the plane and is the pilot too.
Hopefully some of these topics will spur some good conversations and solve some problems too!

- After many years in the IT business, I got into a position to realize how beneficial light aircraft could be to certain small businesses. So, late in 2008 I started Horizons Aloft, a consultancy that assists small and medium businesses to evaluate the value of integrating private aircraft into their operations and navigating all the requirements of flight training, purchasing and maintaining a business aircraft.
